7/29/2023 0 Comments Smallest hyundai suv models![]() Hyundai EXTER UV (small hatch crossover) is designed to ignite the passion for adventure in young, tech-savvy customers. ![]() Hyundai’s micro SUV could also take on compact SUVs such as Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. Upon launch it will compete with Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Citroen C3. Hyundai Exter prices could be in the range of Rs 6-11 lakh (ex-showroom). However, there will not be any diesel engine. Though not confirmed as on date, Hyundai could also offer the Exter SUV with a CNG option as well. Top-spec variants could draw power via a 1.0 liter turbo-petrol unit making 99 bhp and 172 Nm. This 1.2 liter VTVT NA petrol engine produces 82 hp power and 115 Nm torque, mated to a 5 speed manual or AMT. ![]() Hyundai’s upcoming Exter SUV will borrow its engine lineup from the Venue, Grand i10 and Aura. Features will also include ventilated seats, wireless charging and cruise control along with safety via 6 airbags. It will receive an electric single pane sunroof, connected car technology with wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and digital instrument cluster. ![]() The interiors, which could be similar to that seen on the Hyundai i10 NIOS hatchback, will also show off some segment first features. Strong character lines on its bonnet, 15 inch dual tone alloy wheels (lower variants could get steel wheels), angular tail lamps, scuff plates and a sunroof will also be among the features to be seen in the new Hyundai EXTER. These DRLs will be in an ‘H’ pattern which are also seen on the soon to be launched Hyundai Santa Fe. It will sport the Hyundai parametric front grille, split headlamps and LED DRLs. Driver remains responsible for checking the speed limit and distance to the vehicle ahead, steering the vehicle and slowing or stopping the vehicle to avoid a collision. NSCC is a driver convenience feature and not a collision avoidance or warning device. NSCC should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, on winding or slippery roads, or if the navigation system is not working properly. NSCC only operates on main roads of select highways, and does not operate at interchanges or junctions. Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC) with Stop & Go and Curve Control can help automatically adjust vehicle speed when driving on highways by using road information from the navigation system.
